With only a few weeks left until the Mission performance, and still waiting for their new Bata de Cola dresses, during a rehearsal with guitarist Antonio Duran, we asked Linda to describe the dance and costumes.

After waking Talia up at 6:15am, we joined the Vestal’s for breakfast. Then our Jr. Spirit got all dressed up and we headed down to the K-LITE studios at Rincon Broadcasting to meet Spirit of Fiesta, Daniela Zermeno.

From the radio station to De La Guerra Plaza to Linda’s Studio to the Woman’s Club and then back to Talia’s house for hair and makeup and her new white dress to open Fiesta Pequeña at the Santa Barbara Mission, we finished filming Linda’s live performance at El Paseo Restaurant at midnight – whew what a day!
Linda bought new baskets for their rehearsal, a surprise for Avery, Terra, Talia, Olivia and Josie of the Manolo Reyes Group.
