After 14 location shoots over the past 6 days, this year’s Fiesta Santa Barbara came to an end on Sunday at the Studio Wrap Party.

Friday, August 7th – El Desfile Histórico
We started filming and photographing the riders on horseback an hour before they began proceeding along the beach to State Street. This is one of the largest equestrian parades in the US.
Amanda and Talia each rode on separate floats.
Talia’s Day – The First Day of Fiesta
After waking Talia up at 6:15am, we joined the Vestal’s for breakfast. Then our Jr. Spirit got all dressed up and we headed down to the K-LITE studios at Rincon Broadcasting to meet Spirit of Fiesta, Daniela Zermeno.

From the radio station to De La Guerra Plaza to Linda’s Studio to the Woman’s Club and then back to Talia’s house for hair and makeup and her new white dress to open Fiesta Pequeña at the Santa Barbara Mission, we finished filming Linda’s live performance at El Paseo Restaurant at midnight – whew what a day!

Mission Dress Rehearsal
This evening we filmed the Fiesta Pequeña dress rehearsal at the Santa Barbara Mission, a 2 camera shoot featuring Spirit Daniela Zermeno, Jr. Spirit Talia Ortega Vestal and Linda’s Martinete Mission Dance Group.
Sunken Garden Dress Rehearsal
Shooting Fandangos de Huelva followed by Café de Chinitas and Cantiñas from stage right on the lawn of the Sunken Garden.
