Two Weeks Before Auditions

It’s Friday night with two weeks left and the music’s been submitted. “It’s fast,” said Linda, “and we can’t slow it down.”
“Take it from the top – you’re looking good Talia – we need to work on those turns and I want to see that big movie star smile” – olé!

Her friend Avery, sister Tatum and brother Ty were watching Talia’s full dance for the first time.

An Interview with Michaela

It was quite wonderful meeting Michaela outside the Studio. Her interview took place upstairs in front of the fireplace, in the comfort of her home.

It was very inspiring to see all the remodeling work her parents had done to their hilltop property. There’s no doubt we’ve got a story here!

An Interview with Amanda

Three weeks before the Spirit Auditions we had our first one-on-one interview with Amanda. She took us to her Aunt’s house and told us everything, i.e., when, how and why she’s madly in love with flamenco. What a wonderful story!

Panasonic Seminar

This morning we attended a seminar at Whorf Entertainment – all about Panasonic’s new P2 High Definition product line and workflow (from acquisition to archiving). We discussed our implementation of Panasonic’s P2CMS, a new database program we’ve recently employed on our Macs. We also had a chance to test Panasonic’s newest cameras. Our conclusion – our choice of shooting true high definition (not HDV) with multiple Panasonic HVX-200 cameras, P2CMS and Final Cut Studio was the right system.
